As far back as I can remember I loved taking pictures. There was nothing quite like freezing a moment in time with the push of a button. As I grew older, my fascination with photography only got stronger. My camera went everywhere with me, little did I know that my passion would later turn into a career.
Even today my camera is with me wherever I am, but it isn’t just the thrill of capturing the moment that keeps me going. I love photography for many reasons. When the shutter sounds, I am reminded that life is fleeting. Nothing today will be the same tomorrow. As a Photographer, it is a pleasure to capture the here and now. Taking pictures helps me live in those tiny moments.
For me, there isn’t a specific niche that drives me. I take pictures of people, places and things across the board. I strive to evoke feeling in all my photographs. When I am not taking portraits of the interesting people I meet, I am traveling the world looking to capture cultures as far from the westernized world as possible. It is an honor to have a unique ability to find beauty in the seemingly ordinary and photography is my way of showing that beauty to the world.
