“Allison has done two sets of portraits for our family and we have a third scheduled in a week. She is always upbeat, smiling, and a total joy to work with. She’s super fast, but so thorough that you never feel rushed. My 3 kids are very shy by nature, but they opened up to her on the first shoot and acted like they’d known her their whole life! She is able to capture the most amazing natural expressions of my kids, and doesn’t make anyone feel like they have to pose and “say cheese” for the camera. We will never go back to the commercial “pose and shoot” type studios now that we know how fun having pictures taken with Allison is! We all look forward to Picture Day instead of dreading it! I can’t imagine using anyone else!”

“The thing I love the most about Allison’s photography is her ability to capture the real us. My husband and I do not look posed or unnatural, we are ourselves. There are serious and artistic photo moments, between a lot of fun, memorable moments. Our maternity session was so much more than I expected. I love that Allison snaps candid pictures of you while you get ready for a “real” photograph, some of those are absolutely my favorites. Most parents cringe when it is time for photos but Allisons relaxed and laid back approach makes the experience enjoyable. “I had been looking for a family/newborn photographer since I found out I was pregnant with my second baby and was disappointed with was I was finding. After much research and viewing Allison’s work on her website/blog, we chose to go with her and couldn’t be more pleased. The experience was great, which isn’t always the case with a 2 year old and newborn. Allison was so patient and took her time to make sure we got great pictures. We got to see the pictures very quickly and were extremely pleased. It’s a good thing that her pricing is reasonable because we have to have them all!
